Raleigh Crewel Embroidery takes its cue from an 18th-century embroidered bedspread once at the Raleigh Tavern in Williamsburg, translating the original's delicate floral motifs into crewelwork on linen and cotton. The design includes decorative borders that can be cut away and used as separate trims or edgings, adding versatility to the cloth. The repeat is substantial—100 by 130 centimetres—so the pattern needs space to be seen whole.

Made in India, the ground is 29 per cent linen, 44 per cent cotton and 27 per cent polyester, 130 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in two colourways.
