Ravenna Embroidery takes a stylised ogee from traditional Italian textiles and renders it in silk brocade, the leafy motif outlined in embroidery to give the surface depth and a tactile quality. The cloth has a delicate hand and a subtle sheen, the pattern mid-scale and formal without being heavy.
Woven and embroidered in India from pure silk, it is 128 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 38 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 25. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the combination of brocade and embroidered outline gives it the presence for statement pieces and dressed windows.
