Schumacher | Reptilia Embroidery

Reptilia Embroidery depicts alligators, snakes and stylised swamp plants stitched onto a cotton-linen union cloth. The embroidery has a handcrafted, illustrative quality, the motifs arranged in a 77-centimetre vertical and 45-centimetre horizontal repeat. The design is playful and direct, the small scale of the pattern allowing it to sit comfortably on upholstery and at windows.

Made in India from cotton, linen and spun polyester, it is 141 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and is also available as a wallpaper.
