Schumacher | Ribbon

Ribbon is a narrow stripe woven by hand in Guatemala using a traditional technique called pepanado, in which the weaver threads geometric motifs between the warp threads on a pedal loom. The result is a tonal, textural weave punctuated by intriguing icons that add personality and dimension at a small scale.

Made entirely of cotton, it is 122 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 24 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 28 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in two colourways.
