Ridge Line Velvet is a small-scale geometric in cut pile, designed by David Kaihoi, in which pyramids dissolve into diamonds and back again. The pile has a corduroy-like texture and a slight sheen that contrasts with the matte ground, so the pattern shifts quietly as the light changes. The repeat is compact—8 by 7 centimetres—and the geometry reads as texture from a distance.
Woven in Italy from viscose and cotton, it is 142 centimetres wide. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and is available in several colourways. Contact the maker for care instructions.
