Schumacher | Roman Reverie

Roman Reverie is a true warp print—the warp threads dyed before weaving—so the large-scale wavy stripes have a softened, ikat-like edge and a sense of rhythm and movement across the cloth. Parisian designer Laura Gonzalez drew the pattern from the memory of a scarf her mother brought back from India.

Woven in India from cotton and rayon, the fabric is 137 centimetres wide with a 34-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat that runs the full width. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
