Schumacher | Rousseau Tape

Rousseau Tape is an embroidered design inspired by the sash of a 1970s dress, the motifs arranged in a lively, repeating pattern across the tape's eleven-centimetre width. The embroidery gives the surface a raised, tactile quality, and the scale and character of the design make it a noticeable accent rather than a background detail.

Made in India from cotton and polyester, it carries a horizontal repeat of twenty centimetres. Dry cleaning only. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery, where the embroidered pattern can be used to animate seams, edges or borders with a playful, retro sensibility.
