Rowallan Trellis is a woven lattice pattern drawn from the archive, the trellis detailed and medium in scale, its structure clear but not rigid. The tapestry-weight cloth has a sturdy, substantial hand that suits pieces in regular use.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 136 centimetres wide with a 23-centimetre vertical repeat and 17-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, where its weight and structure provide both durability and a quietly ordered presence.
