Safari Épinglé is an animal-print jacquard woven in cotton and then printed, so the pattern sits on a cloth that already has texture and weight. The repeat measures 48 centimetres vertically and 69 horizontally, a scale that lets the markings read as pattern rather than imitation.
Woven in Belgium from cotton, it is 130 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is part of Schumacher's Animal Prints & Wovens collection.
