Safari Trim is an embroidered tape depicting an animal pattern in black and caramel on a linen ground. The embroidery is worked in spun polyester, giving the motif a slight relief and textural interest that reads as graphic rather than literal, an exotic accent folded into a natural base.
Made in India, it is 90 per cent linen with 10 per cent spun polyester embroidery, 9 centimetres wide with a 30-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits the leading edges of curtains, the borders of cushions and the detailing of upholstered furniture, where the pattern can be seen in full repeat.
