Saku gives the traditional Japanese cherry blossom motif a loose, painterly treatment, the flowers and branches drawn with a deliberately informal hand. The design reads as vibrant rather than precise, and the large repeat means it works best where it can be seen at full scale—curtains, larger cushions or upholstered headboards.
Printed in the United Kingdom on a blend of linen, cotton and nylon, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre vertical repeat and 60-centimetre horizontal repeat. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and is available in three colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended.
