Salud takes its cue from a 1950s hand-printed fabric in the Schumacher archive, reimagining vintage liquor-bottle labels as a large-scale repeating pattern with the cheerful, hand-illustrated character of mid-century graphic design. Printed at full width, the design reads as a gallery wall of retro ephemera, the scale and repetition giving it graphic confidence rather than kitsch.

Made in the United States, it is printed on a 137-centimetre width with a 132-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. The surface is spongeable. Suitable for walls where a bold, large-scale pattern can be seen whole, particularly in rooms where a sense of occasion or wit is wanted.
