Schumacher | Sambar

Sambar is an irregular stripe woven from chunky yarns with a trace of metallic, the result reading like a blanket rather than a conventional upholstery cloth. The stripe refuses to settle into a predictable rhythm, so the eye keeps moving across it, and the weave has a tactile, almost three-dimensional quality.

Woven in Turkey from polyester, cotton and polyacrylic, it is 135 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 64 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is suitable for upholstery as well as curtains, blinds and cushions, and is offered in two colourways.
