Schumacher | San Leandro Matka

San Leandro Matka is a slubbed weave built from twisted, multi-coloured yarns that create irregular textural stripes across the cloth. The character is informal and lively, with the random stripe giving the fabric a hand-loomed, artisan quality that reads as movement rather than geometry.

Woven in India from sixty per cent silk and forty per cent viscose, it is 136 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the slub and stripe bring warmth and texture without pattern in the conventional sense.
