Sandor Stripe Embroidery is handwoven with a jute weft and cotton warp, then worked with open embroidery stitching across wide stripes. The result is a textile with an old-world, handmade quality, the surface richly textured and the weave visibly irregular in the way of craft rather than industry.
Made in India from 55% jute, 28% cotton and 17% polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 20-centimetre vertical repeat and a horizontal repeat that runs the full width of the cloth. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and comes in several colourways.
