Santa Barbara Ikat is a true warp-printed and woven ikat worked as a medium-scale stripe, the edges softened by the resist-dyeing process so the bands blur slightly into one another. It reads clearly on its own and sits comfortably alongside larger or smaller patterns in a scheme.
Made in India from equal parts cotton and linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 29 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 23 centimetres. The printed and woven construction suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and it is offered in five colourways. A wallcovering version is also available.
