Santa Monica is an ikat pattern drawn from the archive and reworked with a looser, more painterly hand. The design by Mark D. Sikes has the blurred edges and irregular dye-work of cloth, translated here onto paper with an artisanal feel that suits both traditional and relaxed interiors.
Printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 33-centimetre vertical repeat and 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. The paper is spongeable and sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. Three colourways are available, and the design is also produced as a fabric.
