Schumacher | Sardinia

Sardinia is a chenille with a fine, almost imperceptible texture—the pile is short and the pattern minimal, a 2 by 1 centimetre repeat that reads as a soft, even surface rather than a deliberate design. The chenille construction gives the cloth a plush hand and a slight depth, the cotton and rayon fibres combining to produce a fabric that is both durable and comfortable against the skin.

Woven in the United States, it is 137 centimetres wide and suited to curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is available in ten colourways, offering a broad palette for schemes that require a tactile, understated ground cloth.
