Schumacher | Sarita Tapestry

Sarita Tapestry is a medium-scale stripe woven in slubby cotton and linen, the textural construction giving the bands weight and presence. The stripe runs vertically, adding structure to upholstered pieces, and the irregular yarns prevent the geometry from reading as too rigid.

Made in India, the cloth is 92 per cent cotton and 8 per cent linen, woven as a jacquard on a 137-centimetre width. The vertical repeat is 32 centimetres, the horizontal 67 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, and the stripe's scale works well on both larger furniture and smaller accent pieces.
