Scallop Shell is a large-scale pattern with a breezy, painterly quality, based on original hand-drawn artwork from the Tillett archive. The design has an easygoing, modern feel, and the scale allows it to read clearly across larger pieces of furniture or full-length curtains without crowding the eye.
Printed by hand in the United States on a cotton-linen ground 131 centimetres wide, it has a 69-centimetre vertical repeat and a 44-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in several colourways.
