Schumacher | Scattered Stars

Scattered Stars is a random constellation of small celestial bodies printed in metallic ink on a matte ground, so the stars catch the light with a soft shimmer against a flat field. The pattern reads as delicate and unforced, a quiet sprinkling rather than a regimented sky, and it works as well on a ceiling as on walls or tucked inside cupboards and behind shelving.

It is printed in the United States on paper 69 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 32 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. Sold by the metre from rolls of just over four metres, it is washable and comes in two colourways.
