Seema Embroidery is a chain-stitch embroidery worked on a linen ground, the stitching forming a geometric chevron pattern with a rustic, hand-worked character. The large repeat runs the full width of the cloth at 66 centimetres, giving the design an architectural scale that suits larger pieces and full-length curtains.
Made in India, the fabric is eighty per cent linen with twenty per cent viscose, 132 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of seventeen centimetres. Its sheer construction makes it appropriate for voiles and casements as well as upholstery, blinds and cushions. Dry cleaning is recommended, and it is available in three colourways.
