Schumacher | Serena Sheer

Serena Sheer is a linen voile handwoven on an antique shuttle loom, inspired by a couture scarf. It carries a double border and areas of open lacework within the weave, the structure delicate but deliberate. The horizontal repeat runs the full width of the cloth, so the design reads as a single, continuous field.

Handwoven in India from pure linen, it is 149 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 30 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 149 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains and blinds where a sheer with handwoven character is wanted.
