Schumacher | Serenity Sheer

Serenity Sheer is a linen voile of generous width and easy, unforced character. The weave is open enough to let daylight through while still offering a degree of privacy, and the natural fibre brings subtle variations in texture and tone that change with the light. It reads as calm and unstructured, the sort of cloth that moves gently in a draught.

Woven in Italy from pure linen, it spans a full 300 centimetres, which means most windows can be dressed without joins and the fabric can be gathered into soft, unpinned folds. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains and blinds where a light, breathable layer is wanted, and works particularly well as a sheer behind heavier curtains or on its own in rooms where privacy is less of a concern.
