Schumacher | Shalimar Sheer

Shalimar Sheer takes the formal symmetry of a damask and blurs it through an ikat‑like weave, so the pattern appears soft‑edged and painterly rather than crisp. The effect is of a traditional motif seen through gauze, with a gentle, abstracted quality that suits contemporary and period rooms alike. The vertical repeat is 58 centimetres, the horizontal 66 centimetres.

Woven in Italy from 100% linen, it is 132 centimetres wide and constructed as a jacquard sheer. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is intended for curtains, blinds and voiles where a translucent, textured layer is wanted. It is offered in a single Indigo colourway.
