Schumacher | Shanghai Appliqué

Shanghai Appliqué is a woven geometric motif, square in format at 17 centimetres, with a chevron or lattice structure that reads as both graphic and ordered. The cloth is woven rather than surface‑applied, so the pattern has body and dimension, and the repeat locks into itself to form a continuous field when multiple pieces are set edge to edge.

Woven in India from a blend of cotton and rayon, it is 17 centimetres wide with matching vertical and horizontal repeats, and dry cleaning is recommended. It suits application onto curtain hems, cushion panels or upholstered borders where a defined decorative element is wanted, and is available in two colourways.
