Shantung Silhouette Print takes chinoiserie motifs and renders them as graphic silhouettes, bringing a modern, almost stencilled quality to familiar forms. The design is playful without being fussy, and the contrast between figure and ground gives it a crisp, contemporary edge.
Printed in China on linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 64-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in several colourways.
