Shell Grotto Panel A is part of a two-panel set designed by Mary McDonald, inspired by the garden follies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Classical architectural forms are rendered entirely in detailed seashells, the hand-painted aesthetic giving the design a playful, intriguing character. The panels can be cut and configured in different ways to suit the space.
Made in the United States, each panel is 137 centimetres wide with a 366-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold per panel from rolls of 3.656 metres. It is spongeable and suited to walls where a scenic, architectural statement is wanted. It is offered in several colourways.
