Shirala Paisley is based on a traditional Indian block print, its teardrop figures arranged in a grid and filled with intricate, multicoloured floral patterns. The design has the complexity of a textile archive piece but the clarity of a modern print, the paisley motifs reading as both decorative and orderly across the cloth.
Printed in Belgium on a blend of linen and polyamide, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 130-centimetre vertical repeat and a 34-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, is available in six colourways, and is also produced as a wallpaper.
