Sinhala Sidewall, from the Martyn Lawrence Bullard collection, reinterprets an antique French indienne print as a traditional tree of life design, the branching motif and flowering detail scaled for contemporary rooms. The pattern reads with both botanical delicacy and decorative presence, suited to walls where a sense of history is wanted without period pastiche.
Printed in the United States on a 134-centimetre width, it has a 78-centimetre vertical repeat and is sold by the metre from rolls just over seven metres long. Spongeable and suited to wallcovering, it is available in four colourways. The design is also offered as a fabric and a textured wallcovering.
