Schumacher | Sinhala Sisal

Sinhala Sisal reinterprets an antique French indienne print, the tree-of-life motif printed onto a sisal ground so the design sits within the texture of the natural fibre. The traditional pattern is tempered by the coarse, woven surface, which gives the paper a tactile, almost cloth-like presence on the wall.

Made in the United States, it is 86 centimetres wide with a 50-centimetre vertical repeat and an 86-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from rolls of just over seven metres. It should be vacuumed only with a soft brush, and suits walls where a botanical pattern with natural texture is wanted.
