Schumacher | Smoky Quartz

Smoky Quartz is composed of natural feathers, each one hand-gathered and individually applied to form a dense, tonal pattern with hints of iridescence. The result is a wallcovering that is both textural and singular, no two panels quite alike, the surface reading as much through touch and light as through colour.

Made in Taiwan, each panel is 99 centimetres wide and just over 3 metres long, sold individually. The feathers should be vacuumed only with a soft brush, and the covering suits walls where a rich, organic texture is wanted and the handmade quality of the surface is valued.
