Schumacher | Sorano Weave

Sorano Weave is a large-scale jacquard of botanical motifs, the pattern unfolding across a 66-centimetre vertical repeat. The cloth combines linen, cotton, viscose and silk, so the surface carries both body and a gentle lustre, and the design has the formal, considered quality of historical damask reinterpreted with a lighter touch.

Woven in Italy, it is 137 centimetres wide with a horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The weight and drape suit it to curtains and Roman blinds, while the mixed-fibre composition gives enough substance for upholstery on occasional chairs, headboards and cushions where a decorative cloth is appropriate.
