Schumacher | Speakeasy

Speakeasy is a large-scale geometric jacquard based on original studio artwork, the pattern unfolding across a 152-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal. Woven with bouclé yarns, metallic threads and a multicoloured weft, the cloth has a nuanced, tapestry-like surface, the texture and subtle lustre shifting as light moves across it.

Made in Italy from a blend of cotton, viscose, acrylic, polyamide, polyester and wool, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The weight and complex weave suit it to upholstery on statement pieces where the full repeat can be appreciated, and it works equally well for curtains, blinds and cushions where a textural, artful cloth is appropriate.
