Schumacher | Spitalfields Bouquet Pillow

Spitalfields Bouquet is drawn from a silk brocade gown in the Colonial Williamsburg archive, the floral motif woven as a lampas with fil coupé detail that gives the cloth a quiet sheen and a raised, almost sculptural surface. The pattern has the formality of eighteenth-century dress fabric but reads with enough restraint to work in a contemporary room, and the cotton weave keeps it approachable.

Woven in Italy from cotton and linen, the cushion is 41 by 30 centimetres, backed with a flax linen and finished with a silk lip cord welt in sand, a feather and down pad, and a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is made in two colourways.
