Spotswood Crewel 2 Panel Set is inspired by an 18th-century crewelwork panel in the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation archive and features a scene hand-painted in Schumacher's studio. The design populates the wall with fanciful birds, monkeys, flowers and foliage, the large scale and three-dimensional rendering giving it the character of embroidered textile translated into print.
Printed in the United States, this wallcovering is sold as a two-panel set, each panel 137 centimetres wide and 4.259 metres long. The vertical repeat is 423 centimetres and the horizontal repeat 274 centimetres. It is spongeable and available in three colourways.
