Schumacher | Stalactite Tape

Stalactite Tape takes its flame-like motif from the trim on a 1980s dress, the appliquéd pattern punctuated with hand-sewn glass beads on a linen ground. At fifteen centimetres wide it makes a statement rather than a footnote, the retro geometry given texture and a little glint by the beadwork.

Made in India from ninety-five per cent linen and five per cent glass beads, it measures fifteen centimetres wide with a twenty-one-centimetre vertical repeat and a fifteen-centimetre horizontal repeat. Spot cleaning only. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery where a bolder edge is wanted.
