Schumacher | Star Anise

Star Anise is a delicate pattern inspired by Japanese surimono prints, its small-scale motif reading as a quiet, almost dreamlike scatter across the wall. The design works equally well wrapping an entire room or confined to a single surface such as a bookshelf interior or ceiling, where its restraint becomes a virtue.

Printed on non-woven paper in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a modest 4-centimetre vertical repeat and 5-centimetre horizontal repeat. Each roll runs to 9.14 metres. The surface is spongeable, and the paper suits any wall application where a considered, understated pattern is wanted.
