Schumacher | Star Épinglé

Star Épinglé is a hardwearing épinglé velvet with a repeating star motif that recalls needlepoint and folk tradition, though the graphic clarity of the pattern allows it to shift between Americana and a more contemporary, rock-and-roll sensibility depending on context. The pile is cut to reveal the stars against a plain ground, and the scale is small enough to read as texture from a distance.

Woven in Belgium from cotton with polyester, it is 135 centimetres wide with an 8-centimetre vertical repeat and a 17-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions.
