Schumacher | Stars Hand Block Print

Stars Hand Block Print is a repeating pattern of stars and dots, hand-block printed by craftsmen in India. The hand process gives the design an intentional irregularity—edges soften, ink density shifts slightly—so the pattern reads as made rather than mechanical. The scale is small enough to layer with other prints or to use alone where a quieter pattern is wanted.

Printed in India on 100 per cent cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 12-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the hand-printed quality makes it particularly suited to schemes where craft and pattern are both valued.
