Schumacher | Strawberry Hand Block Print

Strawberry Hand Block Print sets a rambling pattern of wild strawberries across a cotton-linen ground, the design printed to capture the irregular, hand-worked quality of traditional block printing. Part of Molly Mahon's Hand Block Prints II collection, the pattern reads with a gentle, nostalgic character, the 20-centimetre vertical and 10-centimetre horizontal repeats giving it an easy, all-over rhythm.

Printed in India on a cotton and linen blend, the cloth is 137 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the linen content adding body and a natural, slightly textured hand to the cotton base.
