Sunara Ikat is a true warp-printed ikat woven in India, the dye applied to the threads before weaving so the pattern emerges with the characteristic soft edges and slight irregularities that are intrinsic to the technique. The scale is small and the repeat compact, making it a versatile accent rather than a dominant gesture.
Woven from 100 per cent cotton at 137 centimetres wide, it has a vertical repeat of 26 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 17 centimetres. Made in India, it suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended.
