Syncopated Velvet Stripe sets bands of cut velvet against a plain ground, the pile catching and releasing light as the stripe runs vertically up the cloth. The rhythm is regular but not rigid, the velvet adding texture and quiet emphasis without drama.
Woven in Italy from cotton with viscose, it is 133 centimetres wide with a horizontal repeat of 33 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The construction and weight suit upholstery—chairs, ottomans, headboards—as well as cushions, where the stripe reads clearly and the velvet invites touch. It is available in three colourways.
