Schumacher | Tashmoo Hand Block Print

Tashmoo Hand Block Print is a floral pattern hand-blocked by artisans in New Bedford, Massachusetts, each length printed individually so no two are identical. Named for a lake on Martha's Vineyard, the design has the irregularities and ink variations that come with hand-printing, giving the cloth an artisan quality. The large repeat and wide width suit full-length curtains and larger upholstered pieces.

Printed in India on pure linen, it is 145 centimetres wide with a 91-centimetre vertical repeat and a 142-centimetre horizontal. Dry cleaning is recommended. It works for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the hand-blocked character and scale of the pattern are best appreciated.
