Taylor Embroidery layers hand-screened dots beneath bursts of offset French knots worked in ivory thread, the two elements combining into a field of restrained incident across a natural linen ground. The embroidery is spare rather than dense, so the cloth retains a quiet, uncluttered character.
Made in India, it is composed of cotton, linen and polyester—54, 36 and 10 per cent—on a width of 132 centimetres, with a 34-centimetre repeat both vertically and horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
