Taylor Embroidery layers hand-screened dots with clusters of French knots worked in offset bursts, the embroidery giving the cloth a tactile, slightly irregular surface that catches light without fuss. The combination of print and stitch is restrained enough to read as texture rather than decoration, so it works in spare or layered schemes.
Made in India from a blend of 54 per cent cotton, 26 per cent linen and 10 per cent polyester, the cushion has a knife-edge finish, feather-and-down insert and concealed zip. It measures 41 centimetres square, with other sizes available, and dry cleaning is recommended. Several colourways are offered.
