Schumacher | Tenue de Soirée

Tenue de Soirée weaves metallic ribbon through fuzzy bouclé yarns to produce a cloth that catches the light while keeping a soft, irregular hand. Designed in Schumacher's Paris studio, it brings shimmer without gloss and texture without coarseness, the two elements working together rather than competing.

Woven in Italy from a blend led by cotton and polyester, with smaller proportions of viscose, linen and other fibres, it is 135 centimetres wide. Despite its apparent delicacy the cloth is both soft and durable, suited to upholstery and cushions. Dry cleaning is recommended.
