Schumacher | Terra

Terra is an abstracted floral woven tone on tone, the pattern reading quietly across the cloth rather than announcing itself. The design has a soft, organic quality that comes as much from the mix of fibres as from the motif itself, each material contributing a different texture to the surface.

It is woven in Italy from jute, cotton and polyamide on a 135-centimetre width, with a vertical repeat of 51 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. The blend gives the cloth a particularly supple hand suited to curtains that need to drape easily, and it works equally well for blinds, cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended.
