Thandie Embroidery is a small-scale geometric pattern inspired by Turkish carpets, stitched onto a cotton-linen ground. The embroidery creates a textural surface that brings depth and detail to the modest scale, the pattern reading as refined rather than fussy.
Made in India, the cloth is woven from cotton and linen with spun polyester, 132 centimetres wide with a 6-centimetre vertical repeat and 4-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits light upholstery and cushions, and the small repeat works well on smaller pieces where a larger pattern would overwhelm.
