Schumacher | Thar

Thar is a textured casement stripe in linen, woven with a multi-layered construction that gives the cloth depth and a quiet play of light across its surface. It is wash-dyed after weaving, a process that introduces subtle variations in tone and an artisanal irregularity to the stripe.

Woven in Italy from pure linen, it is 147 centimetres wide with a horizontal repeat of 37 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds and sheer applications where a degree of translucency is wanted, and the stripe reads clearly without dominating a room.
